As we know, usually co2 laser is mainly used for non metal materials,say wood, bamboo, MDF, plywood, plastic, leather, acrylic, PVC, ABS, cloth, felt, glass, stone, paper, card and so on, if you want to engrave/mark metal, say steel, iron, gold, silver,brass, aluminium....., then you have to use fiber laser. That's if you want to mark/engrave both metal and non metal materials, then you have to buy two types of machines, CO2 and fiber.
